💙❤️💛 The President's First XI
🆚
The Martin Family First XI

The most anticipated showdown of the season… where pride, glory, and ultimate bragging rights were on the line!

📅 Sunday 14 September
📍 Redwood Park

👉 The Match:
The President's team came out swinging, showing off some “slick” moves (depending on your definition of slick), heroic tackles, and a few questionable passes that kept everyone guessing.

The Martin Family brought plenty of passion, a splash of liquid 🍺 courage, and a couple of perfectly weighted passes… straight to the opposition.

Tackles were fierce, runs were dramatic, some amazing goalkeeping 🧤 and yes — a few players definitely had their hands on their hips for some emergency oxygen! 🫁🌬️

👉 The Ref:
A brave soul 🙌🏻 who somehow survived the chaos and probably deserves a medal (or counselling). A little VAR magic — or just a pause button — wouldn’t have gone amiss.

👉 The Crowd:
Absolutely legendary. Cheers, laughter, and maybe a few “coaching tips” 😉 from the sidelines made the atmosphere electric.

👉 Final Thoughts:
Thanks to everyone who played, organised, cheered, or just laughed along. It was an absolute blast and a perfect reminder of why this club is so special 💕

Here’s to more goals, giggles, and few more cheeky offsides next season.
But in true football cliché fashion, let’s be honest… football was the real winner on the day ⚽

💙❤️💛 Prizegiving 2025

What a season! Tawa Football Club's 2025 prizegiving was a night to celebrate all the incredible achievements. Our teams showed serious grit and determination.

Beyond the league winners, a big congrats goes out to everyone who took home an award. Your hard work and commitment truly deserve to be celebrated.

The club also extended a heartfelt thank you to our amazing sponsors, loyal supporters, and the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the club running smoothly. We also said a special farewell to our Men’s First Team head coach, who is stepping down after an unforgettable season.

⚽ Ivan England Tournament 2025

The lads have been putting in a huge effort at training, and it’s paid off with some strong performances against quality opposition in the Ivan England Tournament.

We faced some tough sides but showed we could compete in every game. That sets us up nicely as we build towards the Under 19’s National Tournament in Napier.

📊 1-1 D vs Wests, 0-4 L vs WPX, 1-2 L vs Petone, 1-1 D vs Stop Out, 1-1 D vs Wests, 3-0 W vs WPX, 0-2 L vs Petone
